History of Intrum Poland

In August 1998 has been established Intrum Justitia in Poland. Today we received more that 150.000 Inkasso cases per month from all regions of Poland. In Poland Intrum Justitia is the largest debts collection company specializing in providing services to banks and financial institutions, credit intermediary institutions, installment sale systems, “direct sales” companies, fixed and mobile telephony operators, utilities (including power grid companies, dwelling co-operatives) etc.

May 2001

Intrum Justitia concluded with D&B – the world largest companies operating in economic information sector, an agreement under which Intrum Justitia took over from D&B its receivables collection departments in all European countries. It means not only the strengthening of its market position but also the possibility of further improvement of quality and extension of the range of provided services.

December 2001

Intrum Justitia was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certificate in design and provision of debt collection services.

Second half of 2002

Intrum Justitia is again quoted on the Stock Exchange in Stockholm (since 1998 London Stock Exchange); consequently the company’s headquarters has been transferred from Amsterdam to Stockholm.

The advantages of the international scale of activity, European experience, and local solutions are obvious: growth in financial liquidity, more stability, profitability, investment capacity and better credit rating, as well as more time to be spent on core business activities.
