We have two service lines; Credit Management Services and Portfolio Investment. The Portfolio Investment unit invested in over €1bn of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) the past 12 months, making us one of the world’s largest investors in NPLs.

Group Business Analytics is a dedicated team within Group Finance, whose purpose it is to drive analytics with a focus on business value insight and creation. In your role you will be a central part of the team, supporting senior leaders in the development of scalable descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models across the Finance agenda, including all necessary data exploration and preparation to do so. 

Key tasks/responsibilities:

  • Prepare/scrub seller provided data that will be loaded into valuation models
  • Prepare/review assumptions for models, and in particular analyze empirical data (internal or external) that will be translated into key underwriting assumptions
  • Review and interpret model outputs
  • Use your analytical skills to transform the data into business insights and present them to key decision makers
  • Enhance and develop valuation methodologies (e.g. using machine learning algorithms)

We expect that you have:

  • MSc in Statistics / Economics / Computer Science or related area
  • R or Python proficiency (data crunching / modelling / visualization / markdown / shiny)
  • 2 – 3 years’ practical experience from modelling, statistical analysis, machine learning or similar
  • Expertise in applying the statistical concepts to the business situations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in creating and leading the technical trainings
  • Knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, other European languages is a plus
  • Background in valuation of Residential or Commercial real estate is a plus
  • Experience in underwriting and management of secured non-performing loans (including knowledge of high level procedures and resolution strategies) is a plus
